4th of July graphic

The Fourth of July, Independence Day commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.

It is a federal holiday in all 50 states and other U.S. territories. Independence Day is the most patriotic and enthusiastically celebrated of all America's holidays. There will be parades, barbeques, picnics and fireworks throughout the country showing its respect and dedication to what it means to be a citizen of the United States.

The PaYS team joins America in celebrating this national holiday.

National Hire a Veteran Day graphic
With more than 18 million Veterans in the US, National Hire a Veteran Day is an initiative to remind Americans of the value of hiring a Vet.

This day is observed every year on July 25th and aims to help Veterans through awareness, positive reinforcement and resource-sharing. National Hire a Veteran Day is the Nation's first initiative that calls for action rather than just raising awareness.

Since 2017, July 25th is observed as National Hire a Veteran Day. Founded by Marine Corps Veteran Dan Caporale (who also founded Hire Our Heroes), Hire a Veteran Day is meant as a call to action for those who hire and those who apply.

The PaYS Team would like to thank Mr. Keith Rozolis, Mr. Kent Heronimus and Ms. Kim Slaughter for sharing their thoughts on National Hire A Veteran Day and all of our partners that participate in the PaYS Program who see the value of Veteran talent in the workplace.
